FRONTIER CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
The HOA is keeping a log and filing complaints for items that need to be replaced/restored on common areas/streets and we encourage you to do the same for your yard and property. Logs should include conversations (date, time and who you spoke with) and details/pictures of the issue.
Frontier is working in the community installing fiber optics access points for the next 60 days.
The Board and Management received notification on Monday, May 2, 2022, (that was received on Tuesday the 3rd), that this project was beginning on Tuesday, May 3rd. That courtesy notice was provided by the contractor Ducts Unlimited, hired by Frontier to complete the work and not by Frontier. If you would like to register a complaint about the fact that Frontier was not required to give more notice prior to the start of work, please call the public service commission about it at the number provided below.
Here is some information about the project that will answer most of your questions.
This is the information that was shared with us by the contractor for Frontier. We also emailed this information to those owners who have registered email addresses on this website or with Clagett Management. Please feel free to share this information with your neighbors.

FRONTIER - FIBER OPTICS INSTALLATION BEGAN 5/3
Construction crews will be working in your neighborhood placing 24,000 feet of Frontier' fiber-optic lines on poles or underground. This advanced technology will offer broadband internet services over a dedicated fiber run directly to subscribing customer homes. This portion of the project is anticipated to be completed within 60 days. A second phase of the project involves another 20,000 ft of installation work. The current sub-contractor may or may not be the one to install the second phase of the project.
Here's what you should expect during construction:
As required by law, Frontier will locate and mark existing underground utilities to prevent damage and ensure public safety. We'll identify these lines with temporary paint markings in or near your yard.
If neighborhood utilities are underground, Frontier's contractor will excavate in the public right of way to make a path for the fiber-optic cable and then restore any impacted utilities, streets, sidewalks, driveways or landscaping. PLEASE NOTE: the water lines for Locust Hill are unlocateable per City of Charles Town as they are all plastic lines. So with that being said that could cause a problem if a line is struck during construction. Frontier's contractor will work to restore services as quickly as possible.
If neighborhood utilities are on utility poles, Frontier's contractor will need access to any facilities or poles on your property (including backyards)
After street construction is completed, Frontier will install, connect and test the fiber-optic cable.
Thanks for your patience as Frontier installs these state-of-the-art fiber-optic facilities
